IADC celebrates Brazil Independence Day
FORT LESLEY J. MCNAIR, Washington D.C. – Inter-American Defense College students and staff members celebrated Brazil’s Independence Day here Sept. 8, 2015.
The college held a ceremony in honor of the Brazilian students and staff members to pay tribute to the historic event. Afterwards, a feast of Brazilian food and drinks was held in the cafeteria. The actual anniversary of Brazil’s Independence is Sept. 7., which fell on a Sunday this year.
