[:en]Gen. Jorge Roberto Ruis, Guatemala’s Vice-Minister of Defense, met with Maj. Gen. James E. Taylor, IADC director, during his visit to the IADC, March 8, 2019. Gen. Ruis and Maj. Gen. Taylor discussed the key partnership between the two nations and what it means to the hemisphere. During his visit, he toured the campus, learned about the College’s history and had a chance to meet with current Guatemalan students.[:]

[:en]Adm Craig S. Faller, U.S. Southern Command commander, visited the IADC on Friday, March 1. During his first visit to the college, Adm. Faller met with Maj Gen James E Taylor , IADC Director, listened to briefings about the college, and toured the campus. The USSOUTHCOM is an important IADC stakeholder.[:]

[:en]Class 58 visited Colorado, Texas and Florida during their U.S. academic trip December 9-15, 2018. Students visited the Royal Gorge Bridge, Colorado, Air Force Space Command, Colorado, El Paso Intelligence Center, Texas, Joint Interagency Task Force-South, Florida, and Dry Tortugas, Florida. The trips are critical to the students’ learning because it gives them the opportunity to hear from various agencies on topics they are learning about throughout the academic program.[:]

[:en]Class 58 visited New York City as part of their academic trip August 27-31, 2018. During the trip, students visited the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, United Nations Headquarters, 9/11 memorial, New York Stock Exchange and NYC Emergency Management Center.[:]
