Dominican Republic’s EGAEE Delegation Visits IADC

The Inter-American Defense College welcomed a 30-member delegation from the Dominican Republic’s Graduate School of Advanced Strategic Studies, EGAEE, to Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C., Sept. 23, 2026.

 
The delegation was led by Dominican Army Brig. Gen. Victor Manuel del Orbe Frias, director of EGAEE and an IADC Class 49 alumnus. Brazilian Navy Rear Adm. Paulo Ozorio, IADC vice director, received the delegation.
 
The program included an academic presentation, an institutional briefing on IADC, and a presentation on the Inter-American Defense Board. The visit concluded with an exchange of institutional gifts.
 
The engagement familiarized the delegation with IADC’s mission and operations as part of EGAEE’s international geostrategic academic tour of the United States.
