Diplomat Christopher Teal was assigned as Consul General in Tijuana, Mexico.

As a member of the United States Foreing Service, Department of State, he also served as a faculty Member in 2018 at the Inter-American Defense College teaching civil-military relations and Human Rights to senior-level Latin American officials.
