The Inter-American Defense College hosted Haiti’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Raina Forbin and members of her delegation during an institutional visit at Fort Lesley J. McNair, Washington, D.C., Sept. 17, 2026.
Forbin addressed Class 66 students and participated in a question-and-answer session focused on Haiti and Haitian foreign policy. Interpretation supported the college’s multilingual academic environment throughout the engagement.
The visit also included meetings with IADC leadership, interaction with Haitian students, and the presentation of an institutional gift and certificate of appreciation.
The engagement gave Class 66 students the opportunity to hear directly from Haiti’s foreign minister and engage through questions and discussion.
