[:en]The Inter-American Defense College partnered with the Canadian Armed Forces for the 2019 Peace Support Operations seminar. Maj Gen James E Taylor, IADC director, provided opening remarks, Dr. David Emelifeonwu, course director, presented the course overview, and Col. (R) Gonzalo Mila spoke on the topic of solutions to deescalate conflict. The students faced a variety of challenges regarding international peace support operations and learn about ways to mitigate these challenges to ensure successful missions.
