On September 7th IADC (Inter American Defense College) students, faculty and staff celebrated Brazil’s Independence Day with a student led presentation about the country, a traditional meal and a speech from H.E. Otavio Brandelli, Permanent Representative of Brazil to the OAS, with opening remarks by Brigadeiro do Ar Leonardo Chaves Rodrigues, IADC Vice Director. In attendance where H.E. Joao Luis de Barros Pereira Pinto, Brazilian Consul to Washington DC, Vice Admiral Alexandre Rabello, Chairman of the Council of Delegates, General de Brigada Giovani Moretto, Chief of Delegation of Brazil to the IADB, Coronel Wilson Paulo Correa Marques –President Comision Aeronautica and other Dignitaries.
