Last Thursday, the Inter-American College of Defense (IADC) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the inauguration of Ft. Lesley J McNair’s historic 60 Building, which is now part of the IADC’s campus and will serve primarily as an Academic Extension facility. This magnificent renovation was only possible thanks to the hard efforts of Joint Base Myers Henderson-Hall Joint Base Myer – Henderson Hall, the United States Army Corps of Engineers Usace Baltimore HR, the Mortenson Construction team Mortenson, and the IADC staff.
In attendance were Ambassador Anthony Phillips-Spencer – Permanent Representative of Trinidad and Tobago to the OAS and Former Chair of the Committee on Hemispheric Security, and representatives of each of the teams involved in the renovation. We also organized a 6k run and BBQ to conclude our 60th-anniversary celebrations. Among our runners were IADB, OAS, and IADC Staff Members and Families.
