The students, Faculty personnel and staff members of the Inter-American Defense College developed intense and varied activities in the Miami phase of their Field Study. They attended the Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM), where they received an institutional presentation and participated in meetings and debate spaces. They also visited District 7 of the Coast Guard, and attended conferences on the political, economic, and security situation in the Hemisphere. The lectures were given by Brian Fonseca PhD and Eduardo Gamarra PhD, renowned academics from Florida International University (FIU).
