Major General James Taylor and Brigadier General Jorge Ramírez Zúñiga, Director and Head of Studies respectively of the Inter-American Defense College met with the authorities of the National Guard of Mexico, in order to initiate a phase of cooperation between both institutions, and that have common objectives such as defense and security, this cooperation could consist of academic and research support and even explore the possibility of the National Guard supporting personnel for Staff and sending students to integrate the classes of the College.

[:es]El Mayor General James Taylor y el General Brigadier Jorge Ramírez Zúñiga, Director y jefe de estudios respectivamente del Colegio Interamericano de Defensa se reunieron con las autoridades de la Guardia Nacional de México, con la finalidad de iniciar una etapa de cooperación entre ambas instituciones, ya que cuentan con objetivos comunes como la defensa y seguridad, esta cooperación podría consistir en apoyo académico y de investigación e incluso explorar la posibilidad de que la Guardia Nacional apoye con personal para Staff y envíe estudiantes para integrar las clases del Colegio.
