Last Thursday The Inter-American Defense College commenced the last full day of the Dominican Republic portion of the Outside Continental United States Field Study with a special alumni panel that reflected on the College’s impact on their professional development, as well as how they have leveraged their knowledge to address security and defense requirements in the Dominican Republic. The alumni panel was followed by one comprised of several experts who spoke about security challenges affecting the Dominican Republic in the context of greater regional issues. During the afternoon the College hosted several alumni at an event where three Dominican alumni were inducted into the Hall of Honor.
