Last Friday, the IADC celebrated it’s 60th Anniversary. Founded in 1962 at the request of the Inter-American Defense Board to help integrate the hemisphere’s countries to succeed in continental defense, the IADC has dedicated itself to educating and developing strategic leaders who work together and address shared threats and challenges.
To commemorate this special occasion, we received Chiefs of Delegation and Alumni from classes 36, 41, 43, 46, 47, 49, 54, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60 and 61 for a campus tour to admire first-hand the progress the College has made since their respective graduations, followed by a Panel on Ethics and Strategic Leadership, a BBQ, and an Alumni Recognition Ceremony, which included a release of our 60th Anniversary Book “Strengthening Strategic Leadership in the Americas”.
May our next 60 years be every bit as productive as these past 60 years.
