[:en]Inter-American Defense College Staff, Faculty, Students and guests joined to celebrate the nation’s 245th birthday yesterday. On this day, we celebrate independence, freedom, and as our Founding Fathers said, “the idea that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, among which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” Let us remember all those who sacrificed their lives for the freedoms we enjoy, and to celebrate the blessings of liberty.
