Last Friday, the IADC Air Force element celebrated the Air Force’s 74th birthday with a cake cutting ceremony in our historic building. The U.S. Air Force was formed from the U.S. Army into its own military service on this day in 1947 under President Truman’s National Security Act. Happy 74th Air Force and to many more to come.
