IADC leadership gathered Sep. 15 with General Luis Sandoval, Secretary of the National Defense of Mexico with the aim of addressing various issues of inter-agency cooperation in academic and research activities related to security and hemispheric defense.
Major General James Taylor and General Brigadier Jorge Ramirez Zúñiga, Director and Head of Studies respectively of this educational staff, presented the capabilities of Inter-American College and as enhanced cooperation would help both sides achieve their institutional goals.
The meeting led to several points of agreement between both sides and the possible signing of some educational cooperation agreements, as well as strengthening the strong links between the Secretary of National Defense and the Inter-American Defense College.

El liderazgo del CID se reunió Sep. 15 con el General Luis Sandoval, Secretario de la Defensa Nacional de México con la finalidad de tratar diversos temas de cooperación interinstitucional en actividades académicas y de investigación relacionadas con la seguridad y defensa hemisférica.
El Mayor General James Taylor y el General Brigadier Jorge Ramírez Zúñiga, Director y jefe de estudios respectivamente de este plantel educativo, presentaron las capacidades Colegio Interamericano y como una mayor cooperación coadyuvaría a que ambas partes alcancen sus metas institucionales.
La reunión permitió alcanzar varios puntos de acuerdo entre ambas partes y la posible firma de algunos acuerdos de cooperación educativa, además de reforzar los fuertes lazos existentes entre la Secretaria de la Defensa Nacional y el Colegio Interamericano de Defensa.
